Lost In Time took out the $816,000 Metro Pace final at Mohawk at just his fourth lifetime start.
The son of A Rocknroll Dance came into the race off a gallant second in his elimination and began as third favourite.
Shooting off the mobile gate, Lost In Time took the lead early before handing up to Hayden Hanover. He retook the lead in the second quarter but then handed up again, this time to race favourite Stay Hungry.
The field opened up in the home straight and Lost In Time popped out of the pocket and went on by to win by a third of a length in 1:50.2.
It was just the fourth lifetime start for Lost In Time and tonight's win takes his earnings to $425,875.
Bred by Diamond Creek Farm, Lost In Time is the 8th foal of the Artiscape mare Summer Mystery. He was sold at the Lexington Selected Yearling Sale where he was purchased by Jim Mulinix for $40,000.
Jim Mulinix was of course the trainer of A Rocknroll Dance and A Rocknroll Dance finished second in the Metro Pace.
A Rocknroll Dance is now the Leading First Season Sire in North America. From 68 live foals, A Rocknroll Dance has sired 33 winners, including four $100,000+ earners and 12 in 1:55.
