New Australian Record Yearling Price

New Australian Record Yearling Price

A new Australian record price for a yearling has been set and that yearling was sired by Art Major.

Bred by Fusitano Bloodstock, the stunning colt is a half brother to the star Our Waikiki Beach 1:50.6 - $798,669.

As you would expect bidding escalated quickly on this quality colt and when it stopped at $200,000 it was to the bid of Emilio and Mary Rosati.

Overall the sale was strong with the average increasing from $27,929 to $34,360.

Art Major had another $100,000 yearling with the colt out of Limerick Star selling to AD Investments.

Mach Three also provided a $100,000 yearling with his colt out of Aston Villa selling for $130,000 to Yvonne & Peter Males.

A Rocknroll Dance was represented by his first crop with his highest price being $38,000 for the colt out of Indigo Breeze.

It was very pleasing to see that the A Rocknroll Dance yearlings will be heading to trainers of the ilk of Andy Gath, John McCarthy, Paul Fitzpatrick, Marg Lee, Jayne Davies and Les Harding.
