Band Stand remained unbeaten after winning her $30,000 leg of the Kentucky Sires Stakes at The Red Mile on Saturday night.
She was one of two winners for A Rocknroll Dance along with Grand Teton who bounced back to the winners circle.
For Band Stand it was another win in which she had to face the breeze and do it the hard way. In all four of her wins so far she has had to face the breeze at some stage.
Grand Teton tasted defeat for the first time at his last start, however he quickly avenged that loss with a dominant five and a third length win in another $30,000 leg of the Kentucky Sires Stakes.
Bred and raced by Diamond Creek, Grand Teton has now won five of his six starts for earnings of $62,500.
Lost In Time was another impressive performer on the night for A Rocknroll Dance. Having just his first start, he made a long sustained run in the breeze and hit the line strongly to finish second by head in another leg of the Kentucky Sire Stakes.
The $250,000 Kentucky Sires Stakes Finals will be held this Sunday at The Red Mile.
