After settling near the rear of the field, the daughter of Mach Three came three wide with 900 metres to travel.
Peeling four and five wide around the home bend and into the straight, Cyclone Kate was too simply too good for her rivals as she won by 1.7 metres over Lovelist.
This was her eighth win this season and takes her lifetime earnings to $236,828.
Cyclone Kate had always shown promise, but she has really found her groove since coming to Australia and being placed with John McCarthy.
She will attempt to make it a Breeders Crown double when she lines up in the Four Year Old mares final on Sunday.
