Bar Room Banta headed a great weekend for the progeny of A Rocknroll Dance in Australia.

The unbelievably quick two-year-old is now a Group 1 winner after taking out the $125,000 NSW Breeders Challenge Final at Menangle.

Bar Room Banta showed incredible gate speed to lead from barrier 7 in a 25.9 first quarter. From there he was never headed and he held off all challengers to win in 1:51.3.

It was his fifth win from six starts and bumps his earnings to $111,890.

Bred by Ray Cahill, Bar Room Banta is out of the Christian Cullen mare Jerada Ace. He is raced by Brendan James and Mick Stanley.

While in Victoria reigning Australian 3yo Filly of the Year No Win No Feed finished third in the Group 3 Angelique Club Pace and Dancing With Flo and Keayang Jackie filled the placings in the Argent Classic for 3yo fillies.

Over in South Australia Dancing Finn continued her great season with another win in the 2yo race at Globe Derby Park.

This was her seventh win for the season from just nine starts.
