Always B Miki's debut North American yearlings shone at Day 1 of the Lexington Yearling Sale.
A total of 18 sold for a staggering average of $111,667 with 11 selling for over $100,000.
His average was second only to the great Somebeachsomewhere amongst pacing stallions with three or more sold.
Let that sink in.
Amongst all the pacing stallions on offer, the horse with the second highest average was Always B Miki!
His yearlings were headed by a gorgeous filly out of Lisjune who sold for $290,000 to the Determination Stable of Quebec.
Remarkably Always B Miki's top four priced yearlings were fillies, with his top priced colt Mont E Rey Jack who brought $140,000 to the bid of Nancy Johansson as agent.
As a group the Always B Miki's were were very correct, good boned, nicely muscled horses who moved well. To see them all look so good and sell exceptionally is pleasing to say the least.
