A Rocknroll Dance quinella in NZ Sires Stakes heat

Miss Streisand produced a sensational effort to fly home and win the Sires Stakes heat for two year old fillies at Alexandra Park.

The Tony Herlihy trained, Phillip Butcher driven filly had to come four and five wide inside the final 600 metres, but still managed finish all over the top of her rivals and win comfortably in the end.

Fellow A Rocknroll Dance filly One Kool Kat finished second while Gold Rocks finished fourth.

Miss Streisand is in the very top rung of two year old fillies in New Zealand and will continue to make her presence felt throughout the season.

Bred by Breckon Farms, she is out of the Christian Cullen mare Goodlookinggirl and thus a half sister to three winners including Elle Mac.

A Rocknroll Dance is building an impressive record as a sire with his first crop already including the Group 1 winner Its Rock And Roll.
