A Rocknroll Dance and Betterthancheddar's debut crops sell well at Lexington

A Rocknroll Dance and Betterthancheddar both had their debut Northern Hemisphere crops sell at the recent Lexington Selected Yearling Sale and both crops impressed.

The A Rocknroll Dance yearlings were highlighted by a colt out of See You At Peelers who sold for $120,000 to legendary trainer Jimmy Takter.

Other yearling sold by him found their way to trainers such as Steve Elliot, Bruce Saunders and A Rocknroll Dance's own trainer Jim Mulinex.

While the Betterthancheddar's also sold well with six of his eight yearlings selling for $50,000 and above.

The highlight was $85,000 for a colt out of the Matts Scooter mare Road To Pandalay.

His yearlings will also be heading to good trainers of the ilk of Ron Burke, Joe Holloway, Andy Miller, Rick Zeron, Blake Macintosh and John Butenschoen.

It was also very pleasing to see other young stallions that stand at Alabar be well recieved:

Overall seven of the top eleven pacing stallions by average stand at Alabar.
