A Pacing Master Class

Pacing Major delivered a pacing master class to his rivals in the Group Two Welcome Stakes at Addington last Friday night.

The son of Art Major worked to the front in the early stages of the race and from there it was pretty much race over.

With Natalie Rasmussen in the sulky, Pacing Major was able to get away with some easy fractions before sprinting home in 29.4 and 26.1 to win easily.

The Mark Purdon and Natalie Rasmussen trained colt has now won three times, all at group level, and has earnings of $87,933. That figure makes him the highest earning 2yo in New Zealand this season.
