Alabar is pleased to announce its service fees for the 2018/19 breeding season.
Art Major heads the list again this season and he continues to achieve results at the highest level.
Not only did My Field Marshal become the fastest ever Southern Hemisphere bred horse, but Art Major is again the leading two-year-old and three-year-old sire in Australia.
Breeders are asked to book early to Art Major especially as he again looks assured of serving a full book.
Rock N Roll Heaven will stand for an unchanged fee this year and he continues to sire elite level horses of the calibre of Shez All Rock, Heaven Rocks, A Gs White Socks as well as the fastest Australian bred pacer of all time in Anything For Love.
In 2018 we welcome the truly exciting stallion prospect Vincent who we believe has all the credentials to make a big impact in the stallion ranks.
Vincent was electric on the track winning 16 of his 19 starts, including four times at Group 1 level.
He has a truly outstanding pedigree page and the looks to match.
This season we will welcome the first Southern Hemisphere foals of the world’s fastest pacer of all time, Always B Miki and we couldn’t be more excited.
We believe Always B Miki is one of the most outstanding stallion prospects to shuttle to the Southern Hemisphere in recent years and we will be supporting him as such.
Majestic Son has cemented himself as the leading trotting stallion in the Southern Hemisphere. As of writing this he is the leading two-year-old, three-year-old and all age sire by both prizemoney and individual winners in both Australia and New Zealand. A feat which is unheard of!
Sportswriter continues to sire very good horses and only Art Major has sired more two-year-old winners in Australia this season.
A Rocknroll Dance has started his stud career in the right fashion! He was the leading first crop stallion in the US last season and is already a Group 1 sire in the Southern Hemisphere.
He will continue to build upon his great start with big crops to follow.
Roll With Joe returns this season with his progeny excelling on the racetrack. His book is currently full, but we are taking reserve bookings so please contact our Australian office if you have interest in breeding to him.
Betterthancheddar’s oldest progeny are three-year-olds in both hemispheres and they are performing extremely well from relatively small crops.
In the US he is second on the three-year-old sires premiership (by average earnings per foal) while in Australia he is having a strong year with his two-year-olds headed by the uber talented Betternbetter 1:54.3.
Shadow Sax is a great representative of what Shadow Play is capable of siring and he will be popular again this season.
The yearling sale results and early training reports for both He’s Watching and Sunshine Beach have us excited for what the future holds for both these stallions.
Auckland Reactor has produced the best three-year-old in New Zealand in Chase Auckland and also one of the best three-year-old fillies in Australia, Soho Burning Love, from his first crop.
He has so far sired 41 individual winners in his burgeoning career.
Sir Lincoln (one of the leading percentage sires of three year old winners and qualifiers in New Zealand) and Peak will again stand in New Zealand and both are showing great promise.
