While Allamerican Ingot's oldest progeny in the Southern Hemisphere will be yearlings in 2011/12, he has a proven record in the Northern Hemisphere which we can look at to see what sort of mares he may suit.
His results show that he is not dis similar to most sons of Western Hanover in that he has crossed well with mares from the Abercrombie, Cam Fella, Direct Scooter and Albatross sire lines.
Four of Allamerican Ingot's top nine performers are out of Abercrombie line mares so clearly this is a cross that is working. In Australia and New Zealand such Abercrombie line stallions include
Art Major, Astreos, Grinfromeartoear, Artiscape,
Albert Albert, Modern Art, Life Sign, Dream
Away, Pacific Rocket, Fully Loaded,
Peace Of Art, Panorama, Fitch
II, Crouch, Orange Sovereign,
etc.
His next best cross appears to be with Cam Fella line mares with three of his top ten performers bred this way. Such Cam Fella line stallions to have stood in Australia and New Zealand include Fake Left, Armbro Operative, Bettors Delight, Presidential Ball, Precious Bunny, Pacific Fella, Camtastic, Cameleon, Brioso Hanover, Lucky Cam and Exotic Earl.
The Western Hanover line stallions have generally worked well with Deirect Scooter blood and Allamerican Ingot's fifth highest earner is out of a Direct Scooter mare. So Allamerican Ingot could prove a good choice for Direct Scooter line mares by such stallions as In The Pocket, Christian Cullen, Mach Three, Stoneridge Scooter, Ok Bye, Deal Direct, Direct Flight, etc.
Allamerican Ingot's best offspring is Blueridge Western and he is out of a Ball And Chain mare. Ball And Chain was of course by Albatross. Another of Allamerican Ingot's top performers, Eagle All, is out of an Albatross mare.
So you can see that he is crossing well with the Albatross line mares. So mares by Sokys Atom, Holmes Hanover, Vance Hanover, Booth Hanover, etc should all be considered for Allamerican Ingot.
Interestingly Allamerican Ingot has also enjoyed success with Dragon's Lair mares leaving the talented filly Soggy Britches, so he could be a good choice for mares by such stallions as Parsons Den, Resurgent Dragon, etc.
